Wolters Kluwer Receives 20 Awards from the American Society of Healthcare Publication Editors (ASHPE) for Editorial and Design Excellence

Wolters Kluwer is pleased to announce that its Lippincott Williams & Wilkins (LWW) journal portfolio has won 20 awards across 18 categories in the American Society of Healthcare Publication Editors (ASHPE) annual awards competition. ASHPE recognizes member articles and publications for editorial, design, print and online award categories.

“This is always an exciting event, to be recognized for publication excellence by the American Society of Healthcare Publication Editors,” said Jayne Marks, Vice President, Publishing, Wolters Kluwer, Health Learning, Research and Practice. “Our mission is to deliver the highest-quality journal literature across our portfolio of medical, nursing, and allied health titles. This recognition is evidence that our authors, and editorial and publishing teams globally are committed to excellence in their work.”

LWW-published journals swept the Best Peer-Reviewed Journal category with: Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery(Gold), Journal of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (Silver), and Nursing2015 (Bronze).

Gold winners include: Emergency Medicine News for Best Blog; Neurology Now®, published on behalf of the American Academy of Neurology, for Best Profile; Nursing made Incredibly Easy! for Best Overall Use of Graphics;Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, published on behalf of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, for Best Peer-Reviewed Journal; and Nursing made Incredibly Easy! for Best Single Issue.
