We searching for a new Sales Manager for Central Europe, working for a global publisher and solutions provider. Reporting to the Head of Sales, you will be responsible for generating new sales of services to societies, universities, research institutes and conference organisers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Presentation and sale of publishing services to societies, universities, and publishers
- Organisation of promotional events and meetings with potential customers
- Management of customer relationships to generate new business opportunities
- Building and updating databases of potential customers (based on the Salesforce)
- Sales and business reporting to the Head of Sales
Skills & Experience:
- Degree Educated (Preferred)
- Minimum 2-3 years of sales experience in the publishing industry would be an extra asset
- A motivated, self-starter, results-oriented personality
- Strong interpersonal skills for successful interaction with customers
- Fluent in English
- Ability and desire to travel (30%) and to work from a home office
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Driving license
